Just a quickie before bed. Been working my way through Michael Hampton's pretty stonking anatomy book - will scan and share (a fair few pages to scan mind) and was inspired by the ending of the recent Game of Thrones Series. I really like Danaerys and Jorah... and am keeping my pinkies crossed that there's no upsets to that relationship in future books (am half way through the first one at the moment, so no spoilers please!), as it's my favourite of the lot. Trying to do this without ref, but eventually had o go look at some poses online to get a feel for the flow of the female body (male dropped out the pencil no hassles). A just for fun piece, so not hugely concerned about an anatomical quirks. - just having a go at it traditionally for a change!

  1. Ooo so happy to see fanart for Game of Thrones! It's been interesting especially to watch these two develop.

I'm not sure if you're seeking critique on this, but I'd watch Danaery's feet? While Jorah seems to be just a tad below eye level, Dany feels flat-footed, as if her feet should also be lower than the head on perspective plane we're seeing on her feet. I'm certainly no master of perspective, but that's reading oddly to my eye.

Jorah I think is spot on for a pose! Quiet and determined to uphold his duty. I love how fearsome the little dragons look too in contrast to the more gentle-seeming Dany.

Can't wait to see this one develop. I'd love to see your layer WIP's if you have time to post them!:)
